My experience as a graphic designer has been broad and included time at big and small creative agencies as well as in-house studios for large corporates. I have worked with accountancy firms, Law Firms, lifestyle brands, charities, photographers, rock bands and sports clubs.
As well as hands on graphic design I also know about marketing and brand identity and can offer a full service that includes advice on understanding and developing your brand and how to take it to market. I've often developed great relationships with clients that began with doing a good job on the smallest of projects.

Allen & Overy. Law. Desk Calendar 2009. The calendar is contained in an A&O branded box and the user is required to construct the stand. The cards are loose. The brief was for a calendar that kept to the traditions of A&O but was anything but another ring bound flip calendar.

Cricket Sixes. Sport. I was approached by The Hong Kong Cricket Sixes to revamp the look and improve the sales of their event programme. With great input and suggestions from them we came up with a really vibrant programme. Mark Burns, the tournament director commented: “I thought it looked and felt great and reflected well what we were trying to achieve."

Community Chest. Charity. The print supplier for Community Chest approached me and two other designers to compete for the privilege of designing the Community Chest Annual Report for 2008. I won the competition and here is the result, a simple idea the uses Chinese paper cutting as inspiration.

Asmara. Lifestyle clothing brand. I first spoke to Asmara almost a year before the project was completed. They needed a book that would really show off their international brand and the fashion designers who worked with them. Inspired by some sunning photography by the owner’s wife we came up with a very simple layout that showed the images to their maximum.

Beijing Symphony Orchestra. Music. This was a multilingual publication in Mandarin, Greek and English. They wanted a shiny evening programme that reflected the quality of the event. There is a subtle music score graphic used throughout.

KPMG. Accountancy. I have worked with KPMG for sometime as a trusted freelancer. Working with KPMG is about understanding their brand guidelines and their brand story. I respect their strict adherence to brand and have learnt much from them when it comes to treating your brand correctly.

FSI (UK). Law. I worked for sometime with FSI whilst freelancing in both London and Hong Kong. This look was developed with an agency in London to show FSI in their true colours as the media industries law firm of choice.

Bridge Training. Education. The people at Bridge have always been great to work with and we have grown the brand together. We are hoping to add more photography and other elements as their marketing budget grows.

Timothy Loh, Solicitors. Law. Brochures for Timothy Loh Solicitors. Nice solid corporate stuff.

Shearman and Sterling. Law. I have worked with Shearmans for sometime. They initially approached me with the requirement for a graphic design facility in Hong Kong. Since then we have worked on several major Asia specific projects and added new original photography to their portfolio. We have even trained a member of their staff to produce much of their material.

HA+D. Publishing. HA+D is a new hospitality and leisure magazine for SE Asia. I Art Directed and Alex from Filthy Graphics did the rest.

Kowloon RFC, A.K.A. The Loon. Sport. I produce three regular publications for Kowloon RFC. Full and fun packed editions of Rugby frivolity focusing on beer and some other stuff. Sometimes 60 pages long and produced in often less three weeks. You can find them distributed in (you guessed it) the bars of Wan Chai!

CocaCola. Retail. These were created in conjunction with the agency Mussi Galore. The graphics were made in conjunction with the CocaCola media kit.

The Cobra Marketing Group (UK). Marketing. Oversized marketing magazines with interesting print finishes like gloss UV.

Talk talk (UK). Telecommunications. Marketing collateral and illustration for the telecoms industry.

Various. Retail. Various branding, identity, logo and tees for retail brands.
